All of our customers get the same, excellent, secure package. Whether you need such strong security or not… you still have it! In short:

  • If you are a business owner, then QuickWatch allows you to calculate your yearly IT budget in 10 minutes or less.
  • If you are a user, then QuickWatch allows you to treat your computer like you would any other appliance… Just use it!
QuickWatch for Websites makes owning, upgrading, and changing a website seamless, easy and safe. Many people see only 2 costs associated with a website (i) the hosting fee and (ii) the cost to build the site. This is not true anymore…

Our automated software runs on your computer and looks for potential issues and automatically fixes them whenever possible. It alerts us if there are larger issues which we can often fix without even logging into your PC. Whenever necessary, we proactively contact you for critical issues. Business customers also enjoy a weekly health report, via email, about their computer(s).
Yes. They are encrypted from your computer to our servers and only you have access to your files. Because of this encryption, our backup is HIPAA Ready… this means that EVEN professions that must adhere to strict rules about data privacy (like doctors and lawyers) can use this off-site backup service.
This means we guarantee that if you get infected we will fix it for free. No additional charge at all. We either fix it remotely or if you are close to our service center, than we fix it in our shop for free. If you would want us to drive to your place, then that would be a charge. More questions? Our techs are here to solve all your technical problems no matter how big or small they may be. You can call as often as you like and there is no time limit to support incidents.
Our service plans do not include hardware repair. If we notice a failing hard drive or you damage your PC or the motherboard fails, then we can address these and other issues for an additional fee… or we can recommend a local service to do this for you if you are not close to our service centers.
Yes! Our service requires no contracts. You can cancel at anytime and we will make sure you never get another bill.
Our anti-virus includes automated patching and maintenance for other PC issues beyond just viruses. Also, one main thing that all smart malware does is to disable your antivirus protection. You may not even know this has been done. We monitor our antivirus software. We know if it has stopped working or has found a problem… but it doesn’t stop there. We include active malware blocking that stops the vast majority of all bad websites from having the chance to attack you. also PC health monitoring which enables you to get a bill of health report each week as well as have the basic maintenance tasks any PC needs done for you. Just having AV alone won’t cut it!
Great. We augment existing IT departments every day so they can focus on the heavy lifting onsite and we can provide superb desktop support. We also provide backup services to existing IT departments.

Our backup servers are encrypted and housed in US and UK data centers.
Typically, we have most clients setup and installed within 48 hours of their deployment request.
Many antivirus programs also protect against malware. People usually become infected by coming in contact with a malicious website. Our solution prevents you from even getting to those infected sites. We have a two pronged approach. We have anti-malware and antiviral software on your PC, but we also have a protective agent that prevents your PC from getting to known infected sites so you are less likely to ever need the antiviral or anti-malware tools to run. Because of how effective this solution is, we are able to offer our “FREE Clean-up if Infected” guarantee.

Yes. But there’s more! We are not like most “unlimited remote tech support” companies. Here’s why:

  1. Our staff is made up of well-paid, highly-trained engineers… not inexpensive crank-turners and script-readers.
  2. You will have an assigned tech. That’s right! You get your same, super tech each time. This tech will know your computers inside and out!
  3. We don’t give immediate support as soon as you call in to the first available guy. What we do is better! When you contact us, we schedule your designated tech for a day/time that works best for you.
  4. If it is an emergency, we will prioritize the job and can book another tech ASAP if your assigned tech is not available soon enough.
  5. We often achieve same-day and usually next-day support for even non-emergency requests.
  6. If there is a night or weekend emergency, we are available. Just send an emergency service request using this site. These emergency emails are pushed to us nights and weekends.
If you have an antivirus, currently, that you don’t want to part with, we don’t recommend running both. We would install our proactive maintenance tools and not add the anti-virus portion. However, unless you use our specific recipe, we can’t offer a “FREE Clean-up if Infected”. We continuously research, improve and monitor our tools to insure they are the best of the best. Because of this “secret sauce” we are able to offer free cleanup in the unlikely event that our customers get hacked.
It can. QuickWatch for Servers is specifically designed to deal with server systems. Also, we have services for routers and other networking equipment, but the plans on this site are for your PC, Mac or Server. Call us and ask about network coverage.
Scan and backup time preference is a question on the deployment form.  If for some reason, you need to change this preference, just email or call us and we can switch you to a new plan.

Even though we are unable to make custom scan profiles for each customer, the different profiles we have seem to fit the vast majority of everyone’s needs.

Anti-malware Schedules:
A Full Scan will scan every file.  You don’t want to run this every day because it puts unwanted stress on your hard drive.  The Quick Scan looks in common infection locations.  Active Protection tries to block infections before they get into your computer.

    QUICK SCAN: 12:00 midnight on Wednesday, Friday
    ACTIVE PROTECTION = Enabled
  • Day Scan
    FULL SCAN: 12:00 noon on Sunday
    QUICK SCAN: 12:00 noon on Wednesday, Friday
    ACTIVE PROTECTION = Enabled

Off-Site Backup Schedules:
After the initial backup, daily backups typically take from 2-10 minutes.  However, the first backup will run for days or weeks, depending on how much stuff you have.  Because of this, we have times when we throttle how much of your internet bandwidth we use for off-site backup.  This allows your backup to continue where it left off as soon as the throttle time passes!

  • Night Run (default home-user)
    DAILY BACKUP START: 2 am daily
    THROTTLE BACKUP FROM: 8 am to 11 pm
  • Evening Run (default business-user)
    DAILY BACKUP START: 8 pm daily
    THROTTLE BACKUP FROM: 8 am to 7 pm
  • Day Run
    DAILY BACKUP START: 7 am daily
    THROTTLE BACKUP FROM: 8 pm to 6 am

Usage Scenarios

Putting QuickWatch on a broken or infected computer would be like building a really nice, secure house on a crumbly foundation. Not a good idea. If you have a pre-existing issue, we will need to first get your computer in working order before we can install QuickWatch. You can pay our friendly techs to do this for you remotely or you can have your existing IT person get you fixed up. Once your foundation is sound, we’ll keep everything humming for you!
If you have QuickWatch with unlimited remote support, then this would be covered and we can remote in and help you install it. If you have a QuickWatch level without unlimited support then you would be billed hourly for the support.
QuickWatch with Unlimited Remote Support is designed to provided unlimited support for issues on the computer itself. That said, if you have your router plugged in we can definitely help you get connected to it under your plan. Actually configuring your router and installing it would not be covered. We can do this work for our standard hourly rate.
QuickWatch is a remote service. If you need in-shop or onsite service for any computer, we would bill you at our hourly rate.
Installing the printer on any PC with QuickWatch + Unlimited Remote Support would be included, but installing and configuring the network printer itself would not. However, this is typically something we can walk you through quite quickly.
All set-up involving your workstations would be covered. What would not be covered would be the time spent configuring your Google Apps console, users and security options at your Google control panel. Also your MX and CNAME records at your DNS provider. Since most of the time involved in this project is workstation time, this would be a very significant savings for your company!
Our tools attempt a proactive automated fix. If the issue is larger it will notify our team who will remotely attempt to patch your PC without even bothering or interrupting you. If it is truly critical and we can’t send a patch to your pc via our software we will be in touch to discuss the problem. Keep in mind we only bother you with potentially critical items. You can then choose whether you want to pay to have them addressed or if you are an Unlimited Remote Support customer, the fix is free!
Great! An additional layer of backup can never hurt. That said, do you have disaster images of this key POS server? What happens if it crashes or is corrupted. You are likely a candidate for our server maintenance and imaging solutions.
